Could someone tell me or give suggestion as to where we could take our dogs to go walking in covered area? This rain does not want to let up. They are going absolutely crazy being penned up in the house all day. Just like people, they are social and need other stimulation. i surely would appreciate any ideas.

We are thinking of getting a treadmill. Not for us but for the dogs. Is this backwards or what? We saw Dog Whisperer with some dogs on a treadmill for whatever reason and it seems to resolve problems. I am just thinking about this winter and if streets have ice on them, I surely will not go. My son took them to Crestwood Plaza on the parking lot. The security guards were watching him more closely than periodically. I thought since they let people walk in the mall, what difference would it make to have the dogs walk there? Evidently, they made him uncomfortable and he left. I just did not think the rain would continue seems like forever! Is anyone building a ark? One thing about weather is you can't have it your way.

Thanks for suggestions. I just don't want to have PetSmart say we can only bring the dogs if we buy something. I have been told that before when I was just looking for too long.
