Watched the first episode of the FX's new comedy "The League" last night (comes on after It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia).

Wow! It was absolutely hyseterical. You have got to check it out.

Good call, Coach. I saw it too. I thought it was hilarious. I can't wait to see how it plays out.

The whole concept of the one guy talking about the first time he got high, only to have his friends tell him he was smoking pubic hair was awesome.

Its got a chance to be a great show...

Pretty sure no one said it was.

Why can't a show be judged on its own merits and not subject to the "Well, its not as good as..." treatment?

I submitted Fantasy Football scripts to HBO and Lions Gate. I KNEW there was an untapped audience. And one thing TV and theater needs is some new ideas.

But because HBO and Lions Gate both said they would review my scripts (I have personal contacts in both orgs) and never got back to me, I refuse to watch. Or maybe I should see if any of my themes somehow leaked into this series.

I thought it was pretty good

The pilot was very funny. Can't wait to check out the next episode. The extent to how serious people take their fantasy football leagues is a goldmine for comedy.
