Am I a bad fan?

I want Cincy to be undefeated on Nov 27 when they play Illinois. That way we can play spoiler and knock them from the National Championship game.

That is now our Bowl Game, as far as I am concerned. I'm pumped for that game. Today was a glimmer of hope that we can pull off the huge upset.

Cincy needs to get through UConn and W Virginia.

Why would that make you a bad fan? I think that makes you a great fan!

Imagine if the Illini could win couple more games along the way, and then knock off and undefeated Cincy?

That would take away some of the sour taste that this season has left Illini fans with.

I would rather they look at the game as not trying to just spoil another teams season but rather if they win out to at least make it to a secondary bowl game. That would be a much bigger step towards ridding the bad taste in 2010 than just one game. Post season travel would do wonders even it's to the Wood Chuck Bowl in East Forgotonia. Of course I would have rather not had them in this spot to begin with where one games matters either way.

Motor City Bowl sounds awfully nice right about now. It would feel almost better than the Rose Bowl bid couple years back. What a great comeback that would be if they could make a Bowl game this year.

Even if they win out they need some other teams to lose, but it could happen.
