they are 8-0 and their schedule on ESPN shows 5 games left, i thought 12 for the limit for the regular season, am i missing something?

I believe that since the hawaii game takes place outside the continential US, it does not count towards the 12 game season

Their schedule is so weak that the BCS makes them play another patsie to even things up. 2 patsies = One decent team.

Wrong.

Last year Cincinnati had 13 games. There are a few teams that have 13 games.

The guy who mentioned Hawaii may be right, but not all teams that play at Hawaii have 13 games, so I'm not sure.

However, your point is taken. Boise State scheduled 1 good game (Oregon) and one okay game (Tulsa). The rest were gimmees. Boise State should not be a BCS buster this year, and the BCS was 100% right to put TCU ahead of them.

Almost anyone who plays Hawaii plays 13 games. Been like that for a long time.

That's the only quality win on their schedule. That game might have been a fluke.

You can't give a team a high ranking based on one decent win in an entire season. Boise State is likely to dissapoint like Hawaii if they make a BCS bowl.

That's fine. But the top MWC teams can play 2 BCS teams per year. Why can't Boise State ?

Bottom line ---- you play one quality game in an entire season, and you don't go to a BCS bowl. Or at least you shouldn't. Hawaii proved that two years ago.
