Like most head coaches GP is a master at saying nothing. I listened to one of those "interviews" with Bernie, a complete waste of time. Bernie doesn't hold his feet to the fire for fear of pissing him off and not having him on his cr@ppy show (yeah I listened to the rest of his show and Bernie should stick to newspaper and short commentary shows where he has to only fill 30 seconds of air time with each comment).

Not fair Albany; Bernie's show is one of the best on radio in the STL. He's fair and has an opinion, but isn't insulting to callers and doesn't go off the deep end. He's a good interviewer and is courteous to the interviewee. When there's a question that needs to asked he doesn't shy away.
GP is on with the Three Numbskulls on 1380 this morning.

Just as a means of comparison/reference, what are some sports talk radio shows that you do like? Who are the people that you listen to?

I don't listen to nay show regularly but I know when someone has the chops to fill a talk show. There is s lot of air to fill and you have got to be a great talker to do it. Bernie is not that. Take Howard Stern or Rush Limbaugh, both can fill air time. You might not like what either says but you have to admire their ability to keep the conversation going and be entertaining. Bernie is clearly an amateur compared to those guys. They are major league and he is rookie ball. I agree that Bernie's opinions are good ( which is why he should stick to print) but he's not an entertainer which is what you need to be to fill that kind of air time.

Unbelievable!!! You just sounded like a master at saying nothing just like you stated about GP. You didn't even answer Brigs question.

Apparently you don't read well. I said I don't listen to any show regularly, I have in the past listened to many random talk shows and it's pretty easy to figure out who has it and who doesn't.

He's on with Cusamano on Tuesday's as well.

You pretty much get the same out of him on both shows, which isn't a whole lot.

If he could talk recruiting, THAT would be interesting.

I would tune in if it was on the TV and not the radio.
Especially if Bernie started the SHOW off by Rapping to the Missouri Fight Song.
