I will have to bookmark this thread for the next time Lane Kiffin or anyone associated with Tennessee gets caught in any tom foolery.

The hypocrisy will be first class when Cardfaninfla is leading the charge.

Really, how is that? Have I said he wasn't wrong? Have I said I probably would have gone with a 1 game? I believe I did. You keep trying to stir stuff up but it just won't stick.

Meyer according to reports talked with the SEC Commish prior to handing out the suspension. Let me know when the SEC sends Meyer his first repremand, Kiffy cakes already has two.

I haven't tried to stir anything up.

I just think you're a hypocrite. That's all.

Once again how so? Have I gotten on Kiffen or anyone else for thier suspentions of players? Have I called for some player to be banned for life? Feel free to show the hypocracy. I know you have the time.

I believe it's the Florida can do no wrong attitude you've permeated the entire time you've been a poster on Bernie's and Mizzou.

Bobby's a Mizzou homer, but you take it to the next level.

Cheers Smile

Probably because the rest of your rhetoric doesn't jive with you saying he was wrong.

If he was wrong you don't continue to defend his actions to point out the other dirty plays in the game.

The 'cheap shot' you posted has absolutely nothing to do with what Brandon Spikes did, so why bring it up?

You cling to that like the fact that Tebow took a dirty hit and had his eyeball looked at somehow vindicates Brandon Spikes of his actions...if that's not what you believe, why else bring it up?

Talk is cheap and the actions you've demonstrated in the threads about this don't jive with your rhetoric.

Like I said he was wrong, I said it from the start. For the moronic people on here, maybe you are one of them that act like this is the most hoprrific act ever committed on a football field I have tried to put the context of the game in perspective. I douby more than one or two people who have commented here have even watched the entire game.

How can I vindicate someone I ALREADY SAID WAS WRONG. He was wrong and he is being punished. Now I AM saying the contrext of the game and the cheap shots HE also took probably had an effect on the suspension handed out.

Once again Meyer talked with the SEC commish BEFORE he handed hte suspension out so I guess it is just one big Florida love fest in the SEC. Rolling Eyes Better get some fiol hte hats are going fast.

actually I change my mind. Urban Meyer is the punk.

Brandon Spikes was at least man enough to punish himself for the whole game.

Urban Meyer is a pansy.

I would have rather him not be suspended at all if a half is all you can do Urb. One half? What a joke!

Should have been the remainder of the season.

I'm still amazed at this! Just because it goes on all the time does not make it okay.

Someone caught gouging eyes should be suspended the remainder of the season and face criminal charges.

There is no place for "acceptable eye gouging" in my society.

Florida looks really bad now. Meyer looks really bad now.

CardfaninFL looks pretty ridiculous now as well.

Think of all the MU fans that called for Dalton's expulsion after his first offense. Why do I think he would still be a Gator?

Hey CardFanInFla, what do you think about Urb criticizing the refs? Shouldn't he be fine or suspended since the SEC is no longer handing out reprimands? Seems like it is a double standard for other SEC coaches to be punished, but not Urb.

Gotta love the overdramtic women who frequent this forum. Good for Spikes, I have said I though a full game was probably better. The entire season? Okay then a LOT of things should get you a full season. Are helmet to helmet hits not just as dangerous? Many of those are certainly pre meditated.

Meyer said the officials MISSED a call. What got Kiffy cakes in hot was he insinuated the officials WERE INTENTIONALLY favoring one team. As hte ESPN college football guy said yesterday ont eh radio. There is a HUGE difference between saying an offical blew or missed a call and saying they are intentionally doing it.

Go birds just can't handle the truth.

Helmet to helmet hits happen in the actual play of football, and I do not believe they are premeditated (that's not to say it has not happened, but I do not believe players seek out helmet to helmet hits).

Eye gouging is a deliberate and dangerous act, and should be treated as such.
