And 9 shots on goal...maybe he can jumpstart the Leafs. He looked good tonight...his timing is a little off but that is expected. Pretty soon he will start making those shots.

Saw it on NHL network, figured someone would start a topic on here about it..Just wondering how long it is before someone questions the hit whether it was cheap or not.

It wasn't cheap IMO, just gotta keep your head up kiddo

If anyone questions the dirty-ness or clean-ness of that hit, it would have to be from a different clip; you can't see any relevant part of the action to make such a determination.

Certainly looked fine to me at the point of impact, though.

Definitely impressed with Kessel's 10 shots (you have to be) BUT I'd take the two 1st's (2010 and 2011) and a 2nd (2010) anyday. Hitting (good or bad) are part of this game. If anything they have to do something with the body armor hockey gear.

I was impressed with Kessel tonight. I'm not his biggest fan by any stretch but he certainly generated lots of chances. He's gets his touch back, he'll have 2 or 3 goals on a night like that.

Perfect hit by Ohlund too. Textbook open ice hit.
