Post-Practice Rams Head Coach Steve Spagnuolo November 3, 2009
(Opening Remarks)
Injury-wise you saw that (WR) Danny (Amendola) did not practice today. Hell be tested tomorrow for the concussion. He still has some symptoms so they werent going to take any chances. He rode the bike a little bit; they were going to see how he felt after that. (G) Jacob Bell did not practice but he did clear the test; he will practice tomorrow so we are okay there. (G) Richie (Incognito) gets his cast off on Monday and (DE) C.J. (Ah You) went limited today; it wasnt full but he did a little bit of work and I think that is just about it. Beautiful day today. We got a practice in and we get one more in tomorrow and then these guys get a break and with that, I will open it up.

The Rams suffer from injuries and a pretty tough schedule. One would think next year they would shed some of the present players for a couple of high picks. Then they should use these picks to rebuild the offensive line.

What's wrong with the offensive line? Are O-Line isn't as bad as people think. I would rather draft the best playmaker available with the first or second pick, or try and trade that pick for a couple of first round picks. I think we draft a WR or QB with are first 2 picks.

Were you paying any attention LAST offseason, when the Rams used their top free-agent signing and their 1st-round draft pick (#2 overall) to bolster the O-line?
While the O-line could be better, it's not one of the team's major weak spots. The Rams need help at WR, the interior D-line, OLB, QB and CB more than on the O-line.
In the offseason, I'd try for a DT who can apply pressure up the middle first and foremost...

The only thing wrong with the O-line is Barron and Incognito, who both will be gone after this season. Greco/Goldberg/Setterstrom should be able to take over at RG while we will need a RT as Smith moves to LT. I wouldn't call that rebuilding
