I echo the votes for Godfather I, GodfatherII, and To Kill a Mockingbird. Three CLASSIC films, expertly written, acted, directed.....GREAT films.

(I mean, they're not "Stripes", but .....)

Just watched the other night.

Since I was exactly the same age and grade as the stars of the movie in 1976, I can say that is a perfect depiction of a typical party night in 1976!

There are parts of V for Vendetta where my eye's tear up and I have to wipe them. At the end , when all of the people show up in their Guy Fawkes costumes is very powerful to me. I always think of the American revolution.

To this day , I can't watch Something for Joey. Too painful. But I would recommend it once.

Two recent movies would be "No Country for Old Men" and "There Will Be Blood." Another Coen's movie I like is "Fargo." One of the classic American movies of the American businessman.

Blood will go down as one of the greatest of all time. Just brilliant.
