Gay people should have a right to get married. Churches should not be legally required to perform the ceremonies with no penalty. Everybody retains their basic freedoms.

I'm glad that the people of Maine once again showed that this movement is completely asinine.

Here's a newsflash. The idea of gay marriage is not fighting for equality. There is no inequality in marriage before the law. The law states you can marry someone of the opposite sex. It's the same for every person, no matter what your emotions are.

This is not a partisan issue. Red states and blue states oppose it, and there is no logical reason to support it.

There is no reason to support something to appease a group of people when their acts are simply anatomically incorrect.

Gay marriage will eventually become a non issue. It will be legal in all states. It will become no more noticable than interracial marriage. It will take some time but it will happen.
