....THANK GOD Carter is gone. What a great way to start the day. I witnessed him dropping passes right into his hands from Warner back in the Giants days...I cringed when we brought him on board. Nice move cutting him loose Devaney!

Now we have Avery, Burton, Amendola, Martin and Gibson. Certainly not a fear-producing group, but very young and something we can work with moving forward.

I know it looks like a roster of 2s, 3s and 4s. We need SOMEONE to step up to the #1 slot. Maybe Robinson next year?

Once Robinson comes back from injury next year, we could be pretty solid at WR. Now get 'em someone to throw the darned ball!

I think Avery needs to go to a strength & conditioning camp in the off-season...get some good food & vitamins, some good strength training and mixed martial arts work, put on about 10-15 pounds of muscle. He's got the tools and the speed, just needs to "toughen up."

Add an IMPACT WR next year in the draft (Tate, Benn, Bryant, LaFell - if they all come out) and a decent QB prospect (Claussen, Locker, Tebow, McCoy, LeFevour) --- we should be fairly settled at both spots.
