Riverboat Red & Riverboat White from Les Bourgeois are decent enough for everyday drinking*, & quite affordable.
*I personally like dryer wines, but in my experience, I am the minority here.

I'm more of a white fan, and I particularly like Sauv Blancs from the Marlbourough Valley in New Zealand.
My particular favorite is the Drylands Sauv with its strong grapefruit finish while not being too dry. I also like the Kim Crawford, and I just purchased a bottle of the Shooting Star mentioned earlier on pure curiousity. Will be trying it soon.
I also really like the Simi Chardonnay from Sonoma County. Nice and smooth with a hint of oak.

Everyday wines in our house are around $10. We found a Root Cabernet Sauvignon enjoyable for an everyday wine. I can't remember the label of the Viogner from Argentina but we went back and bought a case to keep on hand. I keep thinking it was Santa Maria; it was Santa something. It was around $8/bottle at the case price. We need to get back out to our favorite wine shop in Wildwood and re-stock. (Hint: It's not Lucas Liquor.)
New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs are our favorite too; as are Albarino's from Spain.
I guess the Cambria Chardonney is my favorite Chardonney although somebody mentioned Simi and that too is very good.
We happened to stumble onto a fire sale so to speak at Fife in Sonoma. They were moving to Napa and were selling their wines at $60/case to avoid moving inventory. We bought six cases of various reds from Petite Syrah to Zins to blends. While the price we paid qualifies for "everyday drinking", we save them for special ocassions.

We always have Folie A Deaux's Menage A Trois at our house. It's a blend of the Zinfandel, Merlot and Cabernet, and it is wonderful! Can be found at Schnucks and Costco. Not too dry, not too sweet...

Yellow Tail for cab sav or shiraz. Cavat for pinot grigio.
