•Illinois running backs are averaging 6.7 yards per carry through eight games, including an outstanding success rate of 8.7 yards per rush by sophomore Jason Ford. The quintet of Ford, Leshoure (6.7), Troy Pollard (6.4), Justin Green (6.7) and Daniel Dufrene (4.9) have rushed for 1,119 yards on 167 carries

Not to mention the fact that Juice gets 47 yards a game himself. So it begs the question: why pass the ball at all?!

I have no clue. But I'm curious on what their yards per carry is at the beginning of the game, when it's close as opposed toward the end of a blowout.

Interesting fact to chew on still.
