Whatever happen to him? I know he got banished to Pittsburgh but he was lights out for awhile. Anyone remember those 2 back to back complete game shutouts or starting the season 8-0 (?) or when he won like 40 games over 2 seasons and how he always seemed to have an era around 3.3?

Then he went to san fran and I don't remember much about it. This whole Linecum marijuana thing reminded me of him b/c I remember seeing a picture of him and I know Cali has the dank and I was like, Man, Matt Mojo's really high on life. Recreational use I actually think it'd be good to have a relaxing puff of the magic dragon but like anything else, abusing moderation could lead to some concentration issues and perhaps a bit of falling off.

I'm not throwing stoned rocks here, use to chach a few bluntasauruses myself at the college I didn't graduate from, but man....what I, uh...what was I sayin? Oh yeah, I watched a game earlier this year with Mark Buerhle and I was thinking hmmmmmmmmmmmm, my bro use to play ball with him and I could see it, just like one of the yankee bullpen pitchers with the flat bill (name?), don't want a witchhunt, but I wonder who else might rock the ganj

post script:

the above contents are speculative, "this aggression will not stand....man" is alright, I'm just curious, Buerhle and Matty Mojo and flatbill Yank are model citizens, the best, saints the lot of em....

Anyway its better than liquor, steriods or chasin' skirts, little puff-puff don't hurt nothing....being a relief pitcher I think I'd have a little "dugout" (athankyou) with me...

It is the offseason, so I'm sure more than a handful of players indulge.

Heck, spliff use is was so prevelant in the NBA that the league used to turn a blind eye to it.

You seem to have a bit of Moxie in ya, not that there's anything wrong with that. Wink

Well, we know Geovanny Soto indulges. Pure speculation, but I'd have to say Nick Swisher since he's just a really goofy, fun-loving guy. PS: I would love to burn one down with Tim Lincecum so I could ask what it was like playing Mitch Kramer.

I never thought of that. He does look like Mitch Kramer. If you ever get to ask about it, ask him why he kept grabbing his nose while standing outside of the Emporium. I always have wondered about that.

I am not indicting Matty Mo because he was one of my favorite Cards and I absolutely loved Darryl Kile and still remember the day he died like it was yesterday. I can't see Joe Girardi on tv without hearing him announce to the Wrigley fans that the game was being postponed due to a tragedy in the Cardinal family. That being said, I thought it was trashy at the time for the police to even announce it due to the fact that it had no bearing on his death but they found a small stash in Kile's hotel room where he died.

Not at all saying that to bash either or the former Cardinal greats, just saying it happens, probably more than most would like to think.

And yes this is my first post, will probably be fired upon for that.

Didn't Josh Hancock have some on him too when he died? I wouldn't be surprised if it's a pretty large amount that partake in it.
