Post subject: Our Biggest Disappointment so far Rams, Blues or Mizzou?

I figured the Rams would not be very good but I thought that just maybe they would have won more than one game by now. But to me after winning BOTH games from the Red Wings to start the season, I figured the Blues would be MUCH better than they are right now. Still early in the season but not sure why the Note can't get it going. After last season's sweep I expected more from them than this.

Before the season Blues and Rams fans were hopeful but realistic. Mizzou fans were arrogant and didn't want to listen to the possibility Mizzou would have an off year. They deserve to be disappointed.

Rams are a little worse in the wins column than I expected, but I wouldn't say the season is disappointing. Pretty much expected.
Mizzou is playing pretty much exactly as expected if not slightly above preseason expectations. The monsoon game against Nebraska could have gone either way, but I don't think anyone expected victories over Texas or Oklahoma State. A season of 8-9 wins would be excellent after losing alot of key players.
The Blues have been extremely disappointing because they came into this season with so much hype. Eventually, this team is going to have to do something. I don't really follow the Blues too closely, but all you ever hear is how great this team is going to be with all the young talent. Where are the flashes of talent? Where is all of the skill that is supposed to be producing goals? I know it's early in the season and WAY too early to panic, but a team this young should not be stuck in neutral from last season. Progress should be seen this season or something needs to be changed.

What?
I don't know any Mizzou fans that didn't expect a drop-off this season from the last 2-3 years.
The entire Mizzou fan base deserves to be disappointed because a few people posted unrealistically high expectations on an internet message board?

Rams fans can't be disappointed if they were at all realistic going into the season.
Blues fans should be the most disappointed because they are never realistic going into the season. They always think the team will be great, and it never is.
Blues fans aren't even realistic after the season. They recall the Blues as having great times, though the franchise has been average to mediocre its entire existence, with zero playoff success worth noting.
Mizzou? Aren't they about as expected?

1. Not dissapointed in the Rams. Knew re-building would take time and knew they'd be stuck with bulger for this last season. They have a plan and I like the direction they are heading.
2. Not dissapointed in Mizzou. New QB and he got hurt. Mizzou should be very, very good against next season.
3. Blues....winner,winner, chicken dinner! This was supposed to be their year. Instead, they simply can not score. They'll fight and MAYBE make the playoffs and get eliminated quickly.

Rams were gonna have a tough year...no surprise.
Mizzou lost their core from last season so they were gonna be offf...5-3 not bad.
Blues people were lining up for playoff tix after Sweden trip and now they cannot win at home (or elsewhere) and the Murray grumbling has begun...disappointment winner so far.

Why would Mizzou be considered a disappointment? They will probably win 8 or 9 games in a rebuilding year. That is pretty darn good.

I expected the Rams to be terrible. A lot of my firends kept telling me they would be 8-8 or 7-9 for some reason. I figured them for 2-14 or 1-15 honestly, so I can't say I'm disappointed in them. It will take awhile for them to even be close to contending.
Mizzou I figured would be decent and even surprise some people with some upsets especially after seeing them tear up Illinois. They coughed up the Nebraska game and got dismantled by Texas, but that was expected. I'm not too terribly disappointed by them, they are still fun to watch and will improve the next couple of years.
I am however starting to get upset with the Blues though. I know it's still early but how can this team only score 1 goal in three home games? I guess my expectations were high, which is my fault, but after last season and beating Detroit I figured they would put together a solid season. They still can, plenty of time, but they need to get it going. The West is even more improved this year and it will be harder to climb out of the bottom of the standings. I've liked the Blues my whole life so it's not like I would stop watching them, but it would be nice to see some consistency and improved play.

Exactly. Except for the Nebraska loss, this team is right on track for the same record as last season's team. If they can win out the rest of their games this season, which is very possible, they will have the EXACT same record as last season.
I'll take 8-9 wins anytime during a rebuilding year.
