I figured the Rams would not be very good but I thought that just maybe they would have won more than one game by now. But to me after winning BOTH games from the Red Wings to start the season, I figured the Blues would be MUCH better than they are right now. Still early in the season but not sure why the Note can't get it going. After last season's sweep I expected more from them than this.
Before the season Blues and Rams fans were hopeful but realistic. Mizzou fans were arrogant and didn't want to listen to the possibility Mizzou would have an off year. They deserve to be disappointed.

obviously not a mizzou fan and thats ok but get your facts right. Most Mizzou fans expected them to have a worse season than they are having.
Mizzou fans were expecting a rebuilding year and being in contention for a north title, even though the north sucks, is a good rebuilding year.

As an MU booster, I'm not sure how the Tigers are considered (by some) in this thread as a disappointment. They graduated over half their starters, are still in contention to win the division title which would put them back in the conference championship game for a third straight year and continue to land more and more 4 star talent?? ...Kony Ealy anyone!!

I think if there's a team in this state who's fans should be disappointed (and its not even close) it should be Blues fans. Sweep Detroit in Sweden and now can't win a game to save their lives....its def the Blues.

Rams-New coach and GM. Lot of bad players gone and probably more on the way. Really disappointed with the blowouts but not much was expected this year except a fighting and tough attitude.

Mizzou-Gabbert surprised a lot of people and I think the expectations went up until his injury. I think most will be satisfied with a 8-9 win team and a bowl win.

Blues-Very disappointed in the scoring and home record. They can't play the underdog role anymore. Definitely the most disappointing team as they had high expectations.

I thought the Rams could possibly win 4 or 5 but I am not surprised or disappointed that they only have 1 win right now. If they don't start improving next season, then i'll be diappointed. I will say I am disappointed in Bulger. I thought with an improved line and one of the best RB's in the NFL to hand off to, he'd turn it around and have a decent season. Now I hope we get our franchise QB either through trade, free agency, or the draft and hope Bulger is off this team next season.

After the run the Blues made to get to the playoffs last season, I thought this was going to be a great season. I thought that even more after the sweep against Detroit in Sweden. I would definitely say that they are the most disappointing so far this season but there's plenty of hockey left to be played.

I thought Mizzou would win 8 or 9 this season so they are right about where I thought they would be. The only game I thought they might win was against Nebraska but I kind of figured they'd lose to Texas and Oklahoma State. I do wonder if Mizzou would actually be above most expectations had Gabbert not got hurt. I thought we would have beat Nebraska if he was healthy and we would have at least made it closer against Oklahoma State and we could have possibly pulled the upset in that game. Texas would have been a loss either way though.

I STILL say the Blues are the biggest letdown so far for me. In fact I made a bet with a Pittsburgh buddy of mine that the Blues would have a better final record this year than his Penguins. (Yeah I know but after a few beers you do stupid stuff Laughing )

But the Cards I know had a disappointing ending yet I don't think the whole season was one. In fact they were not picked by too many to even win the divison with the mighty Cubs and Brewers supposed to be the cream of the crop. So to go from 4th place to 1st one year isn't all that bad.

I really think Mizzou is peforming as expected if not better in a "rebuilding" year. Remember the years 1984 - 1996, of course there was that 5th down game the highlight of the Bob Stull era, we took a ride on Woody's wagon and lost 77 - 0 to Oklahoma, Larry Smith provided a glimmer of hope but it didn't last long. Pinkel is the best Missouri coach since Devine.

Blues are going to get better as it is a long season.

Rams...Stink, but I don't know if a dramatic turn around was expected but with the schedule it looks liked 6 or 7 wins was a possiblity, now not so much.

The Cardinals may have been picked behind the Cubs, but Carpenter was a real wild card preseason. Him being at his best changes the Cardinals. Also, Milton Bradley and Big Z were flops this year. But yes the season was much better than expected. But we went all in, trading away our trade chips for rentals, and got swept.

Blues on the other hand, started so great against the Red Wings, and now have stunk up the joint. But its a long season, and I think/hope they will come back.

Blues, to be sure. Their marketing slogan alone (You're the last piece of the puzzle) might be enough to win the prize. This one is second only to "Hitch a ride on Woody's Wagon (the most ridiculous one in Tiger history).

Rams fans can't be disappointed if they were at all realistic going into the season.

Blues fans should be the most disappointed because they are never realistic going into the season. They always think the team will be great, and it never is.

Blues fans aren't even realistic after the season. They recall the Blues as having great times,

though the franchise has been average to mediocre its entire existence, with zero playoff success worth noting.

Mizzou? Aren't they about as expected?

I would say 3 appearances in the Stanley Cup finals is playoff success.

Definitely the Blues. They were supposed to have the maturity and development to be a consistently good team this year. So far, the only consistency is that they cannot score and win.

-- Mizzou is disappointing but it’s obvious that they have not yet transitioned to a program that will play well year after year. Also not surprising.

-- And the Rams are about what any reasonable and knowledgeable fan would have expected.

-- The end of the Cardinals season was disappointing but I will never cry about a team that makes the playoffs in the MLB.

Without question, the Cards. They way underdelivered, given the talent they have. Pitiful playoff performance.
