Alcohol is the most destructive drug in the history of mankind because it is so socially acceptable. So you will excuse me for being angry if they punish anyone for smoking pot or taking any other non-PED.

I hope you dont drink coffee, tea, or soft drinks as caffeine is also a drug. OTOH, alcohol is legal in all 50 states(minus some counties here and there), the same cannot be said for pot although it should be(imagine the tax revenue). Aspirin is a drug yet I bet you take that as well. So I guess the whole Catholic church is destructive, it gives its congregations wine every service. Being destructive with substances is bad when it is done to excess, not in moderation.

There's a huge difference between illegal drugs and alcohol...........alcohol is legal as long as you are at least 21 and not operating a vehicle under the influence.

This is never going to be possible as the tobacco industry lobbies against this. They know anyone can cultivate it in their back yard and ruin their profits.
I guess you know Coca Cola started out with cocaine in the formula.

I guess I'm just dense this morning. I really don't see your point.

I guess you know that they used to sell thorium laced water, made you feel really good. Made illegal when they realized users' skulls were irreversibly deteriorating.
I guess you know that you used to be able to go to a shoe store and see how shoes fit using a flouroscope.
They stopped that practice also.

Just because alcohol is legal though doesn't mean it's harmless. In fact for a short time it was illegal too. I certainly wouldn't want to see Carp go on the mound after a couple of so called "harmless beers." Sheesh watching him pitch supposedly 100% sober this post-season was rough enough

Nearly everyone who responded missed the point. Alcohol does more harm than pot could if you smoked it all day long, and yet they punish players for smoking it.
This isn't about moral or immoral, legal or illegal. This is about cold hard logic.
