Wow kicking game? NO. The key to championship football is this.

-Hard nose defense that stops the run.

-Be able to run the ball effectively whether it be power or finesse.

-ASSIGNMENTS, ASSIGNMENTS, ASSIGNMENTS. Do your job, believe in the scheme.

-Decent passing game that can move the chains.

-Great specials teams play.

Um I probably have more football under my belt than you so Razz

But yeah look, kicking is important, but it's not the key to winning a friggin championship. Watch a state title game, or most playoff games at this level, and kicking isn't always the deciding factor. Maybe like 10% of the time. I went to the Hazelwood central vs CBC game and it was about the defending class 6 champs doing their jobs and playing good football. Kicking wasn't the reason they blew out of the water. Or Desmet for example. Basically all the teams with the best chances to win state. While they can kick, it's not the center piece of their team like you wish it was.

Don't listen to these jokers, they're only on here because they go to DeSmet and are trying to make one of their friends sound tight.

If you're the same poster as I have seen in the softball reel....I think you may have answered your questions as to why you should just stick with what you know....like your reasoning on softball topics...here that means about as much to the strategy of a football championship game as the price of tea in China?
