Post subject: Bargain Bin Find: Daybreak: The Complete Series

Found for $5 at a Wal*Mart. Daybreak featured Taye Diggs as a detective who keeps waking up on the same day...the day in which, the first time, ends with him being framed for murder and his girlfriend being murdered. Can Detective Hopper make the right choices to prove his innocence and save the girl?
Originally to be aired as a 13-episode summer series, ABC moved the last half of the series to its website only.
Daybreak works so much better watching episodes back to back (there often was a cliffhanger/big reveal at the end of an episode). Since each episode often carried multiple-days, watching episodes back to back is almost seemless.
Daybreak has the action of a good episode of 24. Unlike Groundhog Day, Hopper's injuries carry over to a restart of a day, so there was great danger for him (but only him, the series killed supporting characters--good and bad, but they would be reset when the day resets).

That's pretty cool. I was watching that until they yanked it. Never got around to watching online. And that chick playing the girlfriend was HOT!
