Would you prefer the Rams to be a defensive powerhouse - a team that punches other teams in the mouth every chance it gets while keeping the score low...

or would you rather the Rams be an offensive juggernaut - posting up 35-45 points a game and dictating the way the opponent has to play?

Assuming you can't have both, which would you rather see? Personally, I became a Rams fan because of the defensive line and their ability to kick the snot out of people. The 99 Rams were beast, but then again, so were the 2000 Ravens.

The reason I ask is because you could build one side with young talent through the draft and just keep plugging in vets and FAs on the other side. Not in one year, obviously, but its a viable long-term plan.

I would love to see Mr. Suh in the middle of our D-Line.

Why not follow the Ravens of '08? They had an offense that could control a game on the ground, yet score almost at will down the field through the air. And they had/have a crushing defense. Their offense compliments their defense with ball control and limiting the short fields for the defense.

That's what i would like to see. A good offense and great defense. I know you said pick one, but the Ravens from last year, IMO, had a great dynamic between all three phases of their team.

I agree completely. Ultimately though, it wasn't enough to get to the prom. The 2000 Ravens gave up 165 points all season and were +23 in turnovers. That's just insanely sick. That was a team that needed only Trent Dilfer and Tony Banks at QB because they had Priest and Jamal + a defense that just obliterated people.

The Rams already have a badass back and a serviceable line. All they'd need is someone behind center that didn't cost the team a game, and they could build a beast defense.

That, of course, starts with Suh.

If you have a running back like jackson I would like to go Defense and control the ball on offense.
If you dont have a pounding up the gut RB Id like to see offesne.

That being said Id like a mean defense.
St louis has never really had a defensive orinted team even going back to the big red days.

DEFENSE!!! I love seeing QB sacks, INTs, fumbles, etc. It's why the Steelers are my AFC team!

+1
Suh: If he's available when we pick is a no brainer...could make Laurinaitis even better

2nd round: QB or WR...still curious to see what Gibson can do. Surely we can find reliable #2-4 wideouts among Gibson, Avery (best case scenario possibly an Az Hakim type IF healthy), Burton and Robinson with Amendola back in 2010 as #4/5 WR/KR/PR. Would like to see a veteran leader acquired through free agency who has had reasonable past success as the our #1 in '10...wouldn't we all. After all that a QB that can play by 2011 might be the way to go if we could find a capable FA QB for 2010. We must go in a new direction...enough of Marc.

Absolutely, in 2nd round take whichever is higher rated, QB or WR. Take the other position in round 3.
