Nebraska defensive tackles know how to avoid hitting cats when driving.

Oakland Raiders have a notoriously classy fan base. Not to mention a classy owner and head coach as well.

Great minds...?

Lets not get carried away.

Ya know, you're right... You aren't quite yet up to my level of great-mindedness....

Some day though, some day...

If only I had went to Mizzou. Laughing

...then you would have learned how to apply the past perfect tense.

I'm jealous that Kansas has such good-looking apparel. I went to Kansas State and there's only so much you can do with purple.

texas fans are awesome. i had a blast at the alamo bowl in '06.

mizzou is better than nebraska; and though bo pelini is turning "big red" around, part of me thinks that they'll be playing 2nd fiddle to the tigers in the big12 north for the next several years.

couple big 12 talking points:
*you guys need to get your own network, it is awesome to have the big10 network, absolutely love it. all the football and basketball games on in HD, can't beat it.

* baylor and/or iowa state should be dropped to add TCU to the big 12 south and utah/boise state/or byu to the big12 north. your conference would be STACKED, granted it would probably hurt your basketball.

I like how easy the Cubs make it for the Cardinals to win the division.

Congratulations to the Cubs on their 1908 championship.

I wish I would have been able to drive my horse and buggy up to help celebrate.

So far from what I have read I vote for this post. Laughing

My former mother and father-in law are both Hawkeye alums so can't think of one good thing to say about UofI. Wink

Philadelphia Phillies: Love the ballpark and home uniform.

Los Angeles Dodgers: Every chance you get to hear Vin Scully, do it before he's gone. Also, it's nice to know even filthy-rich people (the McCourts) can be bitter and publicly shamed.

Chicago Cubs: I like Wrigley Field, but I love the city. One of the world's greatest. I'd move there if the winters weren't nine months long. Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to live long enough to sing along during the 7th inning stretch with Harry, and for allowing me to run around the Wrigley outfield that incredible day when Sosa passed McGwire in the HR race.

San Francisco Giants: No matter who's playing, I'm watching if the game's at AT&T Park. What a gem.

Detroit Tigers and Red Wings: Even though your city totally blows, I love the simple, historic dignity of your uniforms.

Montreal Canadiens: Because whenever a rookie enters that locker room for the very first time, he sees a huge wall mural with depictions of past Canadien captains, reading "To you from failing hands we pass the torch. Be it yours to hold high." That's why the final game at the Forum had that unforgettable Captains' Torch ceremony. Wow....goosebumps.

San Diego Padres: For Jerry Coleman. I'm happy he was around to see the Yankees play the Phillies, because Jerry was the World Series MVP the last time they met, in 1950. He was also a two-war hero, flying 120 jet fighter missions. I hope he's still around come spring.
My first weepfest as a Callifornian will come when I hear of his death.

Philadelphia Flyers: My alltime most hated NHL team, but at least Chris Pronger, one of my favorite players, now has a team that fits his prickly on-ice persona.

Yankees: Yes, I hate the Yankees. But, I'm glad Bob Sheppard lived long enough to see, even if from his deathbed, one more title, at age 99.

I really hate the Blackhawks. But they have one of the coolest jersey's in all of pro sports, both the red and white. There also was no better place to see a sporting event than that old dump Chicago Stadium. From the Anthem to sitting in the rafters hanging over the ice, can't beat it. Still hate the Hawks with a passion.

I'll never understand why people like the Blackhawks jerseys so much. I personally think they have the ugliest jerseys in the NHL. That red and black pattern is so beyond hideous. The logo is so fruity looking too. Way too many colors. Just a flat out ugly jersey.

If I were to stay a nice thing about them it would be that I wish Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews were on the Sabres.
