Our first look at Pronger in the colors he was born to wear. Eller hasn't ever seen a defense like the one Philly possesses. Should be fun.
Flyers - 3
Blues - 1
LET'S GO BLUES!!!

Scary game.
We are probably looking at two outcomes.
1. Blues get embarrassed.
2. Faced with getting stomped on by a vastly superior club, the Blues respond with the brand of desperate hockey we saw last year, and make it a
great game.
Flyers 4
Blues 2

Yay a real thread!
LETS GO BLUES!!!
They've got to get out of this funk, tough team to play though...they're stacked. Really excited to see Giroux and VanRiemsdyk(does it fit on the jersey?), Prongs too.
I hope we get our scoring touch going. I'm benching Emery in my Fantasy pool!
I say win in shootouts!
Flyers 4 - JVR, Hartnell, Carter x2
Blues 5 - Boyes x2, Oshie, EJ(finally!) and Perron with the shootout winner.

Not a lot of win predictions so far.
Here's hoping the Blues take another step forward. Would really like to see stronger games from Backes PK and KT.
If we have to lean on Oshie Eller and Berglund this game it's not going to be pretty.
And it will be a long season.
How long till Steen comes back?

Blues 21
Philly 1
yes, i know i wrote 21, no im not intoxicated, yet...its just time for some scoring, and up against a d as physical as philly... we can frustrate the
outta them and draw lots of penalties, if we play our game... otherwise, its going to be ugly

Hmmmm going for a 3-2 Blues win. We'll get ugly goals but they all count.
I HAVE to think some of the vets will snap out of their slumps. So, Blues goals courtesy of Backes, Boyes and Kariya.

We may be catching a bit of a break tonight. According to "early indications" and a Flyers blogger on Hockeybuzz, Brian Bobby Boucher might be getting his second start of the season tonight.
Of course the way the vaunted Bluenote OH-fence has been playing of late, B. Boucher will look like Jacques Plante tonight. Flyers 3, Blues 1.
