Wow, so it passed by two votes (if my math is correct)?

[I guess my math would have been better if I had notice the votes tally in the title of the thread...]

You guys happy about this must not pay taxes. It is a sad day in American History today. Hopefully, this $1.28 trillion power grab can be overturned when and if qualified people are in charge. The blood bath begun in Va and NJ will continue into 2010.

I'm being sarcastic in my statements above.

C'mon. It's just silly to go there.

Name-calling is really unproductive, inappropriate, and immature.

Sadly, you're probably correct. And it's a shame that a Congressman who voted his conscience will be sacrificed to ideology by his party.

See the two words in red? Those are the only two you have to worry about. The number of votes received is irrelevant.

No, it passed by five votes.

And all that was necessary was one.

Your party's attempt at obstructionism got pushed off the track by five people with the courage and the sense to vote for something that has a chance to actually benefit Mr. and Mrs. America, and not Big Pharma and Big Insurance.

That bill won't make it intact through the Senate, so it's pretty symbolic.

Not at all -- I'm sure that he's surrounded in a sea of blue back in the district.
