Why are all these broadcasters calling him Lord Favre?
We all know what will happen when the bruises start to mount up...vikes miss playoffs

It's more likely the Vikes go 13-3 and make the Super Bowl. I also haven't heard anyone call him "Lord" Favre.

Jamie Dukes on the NFL N...perhaps i was in a drunken stupor but i swore i heard him and a few others on the nfl n call him that.
Down here in Atlanta, there is a guy on the sports radio station 680 the fan named Perry Laurentino that could eat 10 miles of Favre's "stuff". He also
refers to him as "LORD FAVRE"....daily!

Its probably just a testament to his longevity. He's "reigned" over this game for a long time. I'll bet even after he retires, he'll still be considered the elder statesman of the league.
