...
So, a certain someone posted on Facebook in a fury repeating that Murray told this to David Perron tonight:
Quote
Tonight, I want you to play like an english canadian, not a french canadian...
And, apparently also told David that he's not allowed to stickhandle on the powerplay anymore -- that he has to keep his stick square to the net and keep it like that.
This is a bit shocking to me, as the first seems completely racially insensitive, considering Murray is Canadian, you'd think he'd be a bit more careful with words like those -- I don't know that David was completely offended by it, but he was enough to tell someone about it.
The second is just puzzling.
I've always been a Murray supporter, and I'm hardly deviating, but this just baffles me.
Not trying to fan the flames, but there it is.[/quote]

I'm not really sure what to think, because I would just be taking your word and I don't know you. But, if that is true that is seriously f'd up!

You didnt cite anything without a link. We cant see the quotes even if we found his Facebook since you have to be friends with people to see their page.

that's not entirely true if his page is public, but regardless, I'd beg you to respect his privacy. You can cry afoul all you'd like... But I'm just telling it like I saw it. I have no reason to make this sort of thing up, if you check my post history and ask people from stlblues.com forums where I used to post, I'm not a rumor mongerer and, in fact, have been a staunch supporter of Murray.

You have to understand how no one can take you seriously without being able to provide proof. I could say, well on this dudes Facebook page, it says that Lantz is in the Taliban. I mean, why even try to start trouble if you cant back it up?
If this is true, then I predict that either Murray or Perron will be gone before the season is over.

No one is trying to start trouble, I was simply relaying information that this user base would find interesting. The differnce between "some guy" saying i'm in the Taliban and me citing Davids brother is so huge that you'd be a fool to think they were similar. Regardless, i've got no reason to make this sort of thing up, and simply found it to be a completely baffling story. Pascal doesn't usually post things he and David talk about, it was obvious that he was truly upset with this particular item. I don't think it's fair to him to link directly to his personal facebook profile... Frankly, I already feel like a major cock for even admitting it was him that I took this info from.
So, take that for what it is, I just thought it was worth passing on, believe it or not, it's a pretty jacked up thing to say.
Although Perron did lay a pretty massive hit... Lol.

I've read that Facebook posts can be forged. Wasn't there a fake TJ Oshie Facebook account? Maybe this wasn't the real Pascal Perron's comment?
I doubt that Pascal would make public information that might cause strife between his brother and the latter's coach.
