Morning -
My RB's in Yahoo free league - S. Jackson (Bye)- Benson, Mendenhall - and Shonne Greene (Greene recent pick-up that I'm not very keen on).

Q - PITT plays DENVER - Denver has utterly stopped the run. However, if close game Mendenhall could get a lot of carries. The idea drop Shonne Greene and pick-up another option to sit Mendenhall this week.

What do you think of pick-up the hot since last week Laughing Ryan Moats - they play the Colts - I don't believe the Colts are terrific run stoppers.
Others available which I have no real idea about - other than some fantasy chit-chat:
Jamal Charles
Julius Jones
Mike Bell - the Saints ought be doing some damage this week, however my QB is Brees as well as my defense and my Kicker

Or just leave well enough alone - if it aint broke don't fix it kind of thing.

Thanks - Evelyn

Rotowire's top 50 RBs for this week.

Running Back

Maurice Jones-Drew JAC vs. KC
Note: Maybe the braintrust in Jacksonville will let MJD get a carry before the second quarter this week.
Chris Johnson TEN at SF
DeAngelo Williams CAR at NO
Ray Rice BAL at CIN
Michael Turner ATL vs. WAS
Note: Was a beast against the Saints.
Brandon Jacobs NYG vs. SD
Cedric Benson CIN vs. BAL
Ronnie Brown MIA at NE
Note: Got shut down by the Jets, and for the second week the Wildcat got throttled.
Frank Gore SF vs. TEN
Note: Feast or famine back. The Titans gave up two huge runs to MJD last week.
Pierre Thomas NO vs. CAR
Note: Lost a fumble but later redeemed himself with the Saints' final touchdown.
Ryan Grant GB at TB
Matt Forte CHI vs. AZ
LaDainian Tomlinson SD at NYG
Julius Jones SEA vs. DET
Note: Should get more carries this week, presuming that Seattle doesn't fall behind early like they did against the Cowboys.
*Marion Barber DAL at PHI
Update: (Thumb/Quad) Full participation in Wednesday's practice. Saturday Update: Listed as probable.
*Jamaal Charles KC at JAC
Note: Getting the start at least for this week, with Larry Johnson out. I'm not counting on him carry quite a full load.
*Clinton Portis WAS at ATL
Update: (Ankle) Full participation in Wednesday's practice, not listed on the initial injury report.
Tim Hightower AZ at CHI
*Joseph Addai IND vs. HOU
Note: Keeps finding ways to contribute to his fantasy owners despite a poor YPC.
Rashard Mendenhall PIT at DEN
Update: Confirmed as the starter.
*Laurence Maroney NE vs. MIA
Saturday Update: Both Fred Taylor and Sammy Morris are out.
Steve Slaton HOU at IND
Note: Coach Gary Kubiak said that Slaton will be involved in the offense next week against the Colts, though he didn't let on how much he will play and how much Ryan Moats will play. I honestly don't know where to rank him at this point. Saturday Update: Got not one but two votes of confidence from Kubiak this week. But what happens the next time he fumbles?
Cadillac Williams TB vs. GB
Knowshon Moreno DEN vs. PIT
*Brian Westbrook PHI vs. DAL
Note: (Concussion) Expected to practice on Wednesday, albeit in non-contact drills. Still felt a bit of a headache on Saturday. I'm a little wary of a relapse. Update: Practiced on Wednesday, expected to play. **Saturday Update: Did not practice, still listed as questionable, but he was given a "rest." I'm still moving him down - both between the missed practice and with his limited play the last time he came back from an injury.
*Jonathan Stewart CAR at NO
Saturday Update: Listed as questionable, but fully participated on Friday and is expected to play.
Ricky Williams MIA at NE
Mike Bell NO vs. CAR
Note: Lost a goal line carry to Reggie Bush and lost a fumble late when the Saints were trying salt away the game.
*Kevin Smith DET at SEA
Note: Left with a shoulder injury - Maurice Morris took over after the injury. Update: Did not practice on Wednesday. Saturday Update: Practiced on Friday, listed as questionable, coach Jim Schwartz "optimistic" about Smith. But it's a late afternoon game, so you might night have recourse if he gets scratched.
LeSean McCoy PHI vs. DAL
Note: One 66-yard carry, 10 other for 16 yards total. Update: Missed Wednesday's practice with a severe case of the flu.
*Felix Jones DAL at PHI
*Ryan Moats HOU at IND
Note: It would helpful if coach Kubiak gave us some enlightenment on how much he'll use Moats, but I doubt that we'll get it. Saturday Update: Kubiak won't name a starter.
*Ahmad Bradshaw NYG vs. SD
Note: Picked up a late score to salvage a nothing game. That foot looms as a continual worry. Update: Missed practice on Wednesday.
Chris Wells AZ at CHI
Note: Did well with his opportunities, which were limited because the Cards fell behind early.
*Willie Parker PIT at DEN
Note: Sat out practice Monday with a fever; still feeling effects of his turf toe injury. Saturday Update: Confirmed that he's still not fully healed from his turf toe injury.
Darren Sproles SD at NYG
*Correll Buckhalter DEN vs. PIT
Reggie Bush NO vs. CAR
Note: Scored again for the third week despite getting just four touches. Saturday Update: Might line up at wide receiver on a fw plays with Lance Moore out.
Justin Forsett SEA vs. DET
Note: Officially the number two back following the release of Edgerrin James.
LenDale White TEN at SF
*Garrett Wolfe CHI vs. AZ
*Maurice Morris DET at SEA
Derrick Ward TB vs. GB
Tashard Choice DAL at PHI
Willis McGahee BAL at CIN
Note: Completely marginalized by Ray Rice's breakout.
*Glen Coffee SF vs. TEN
*Chris Brown HOU at IND
Kevin Faulk NE vs. MIA
Ladell Betts WAS at ATL
*Chad Simpson IND vs. HOU

Thanks CBC - nice resource.
Is this rotowire ranking a subscription service?

Because it isn't straight forward that Moats will play, i.e. how much I think for now I will leave well enough alone and use Mendenhall along with Benson. Mendenhall is no slouch even though playing a tough defense.

Thanks for the reference.

Dude pick up julius jones for seattle because they are playing detroit who is dead last against the run and once the hawks get up 21-0 they will jus hand the ball to jones the rest of the game

PICK UP JONES AND YOU WILL WIN YOUR WEEK

I did pick up Jones - dropped Shonne Greene

We'll see - I'm not quite as optimistic as you, but you might well be right.

It worked out mighty fine indeed!
With Mr. Burleson's help of a nice 17 points I should win my week - unless of course Eddie Royal (DEN-WR)for my opponent can score 27 points tonight. Laughing

I am appreciative of Eric G for making the suggestion.
