Thats what the problem is Mark, players that dont care and are just there for the paycheck slide a yard early but guys that want to win and do care do what it takes to get the first down JMO

Thanks for the insight.. I thought he said "I'm not worried about it"...

Probably no difference in your opinion.

And what he was not worried about was the criticism.

Meaning, he's disregarding it and just will play.

Exactly the attitude you want in a qb. Unless you want them to get all fussed and worried about every fan complaint out there. QBs know it's what you've done for me lately and beyond that, mostly myth making.

The idea that a guy who played with cracked ribs behind an injury shattered OL doesn't care is just so insane, only a short-term memory type fan would ever even come up with it.

Ironically, he echoed the same thoughts Spags did on Monday.. He said something to the effect of, we did not even rewind the game film on it, not worried about it and moving on.

Does he have an "I don't care" attitude as well? Or do you like the fact that the HC is not worried about it but the player is?

Just wondering.

Marc hasn't listened to NFL DBs who have talked about some of his faults.
He hasn't listened to reporters & announcers that have pointed out some of his faults.
He hasn't listened to Fans that have pointed out some of his faults.
What is anyone supposed to do?
But, I sure don't buy into Spags' "he's done everything we've asked him to do" schtick either. So, maybe Marc will respond to Spags' "ego stroking". Who knows.
I do think Marc cares, but...he plays the same every single week. With no signs or attempts, to me...that would make me think he's trying to play any differently than he is currently playing.
Alot on here try to minimize the "slide".
If he would have went for the 1st down, everyone would have YELLED..."WAY TO GO MARC!!!", "NICE PLAY", "GREAT EFFORT".
But instead, it's..."He's gun shy", "shell shocked".
That play was bigger than some think.
GO RAMS!!!!!!!!

Well said, I dont think Spags asked Bulger to have 3 TD passes at the halfway point of the season

Doing exactly what the coach says.

Spags: A great 5 yards slide right now will set you up for a great endorsement when you don't have a job next year!

Where is your proof of this?

Proof??
The Dolphins DBs said in their post game news conference LAST YEAR, that Bulger was locking on to one receiver. 3 INTs were the result.
And gee wiz, what are we all still talking about THIS YEAR...yeah, Marc locking onto one receiver. INTs haven't been the result, but...the DBs must all be Pro Bowl caliber talent, because they're always around the ball. Unless you buy into the fact that the RAMS WRs still don't know how to run routes, AT ALL.
GO RAMS!!!!!!

I think criticism of him is fine.. But he has ONE person to listen to and that is Spags.. Who has given that authority to Shurmer.

Glover was on the radio and said he would not have been happy if Bulger would have went head first in that situation. He went on about how he did do that and got ribs cracked and that hurt them more than it helped.

But I will lose all respect for Spags if he continues to emphatically support Bulger as he has and then cuts him next year.

I have never seen Spags or BD "stroke an ego".. That is a Haslett philosophy, not a Spags philosophy IMHO.
