and a reminder that this is on the "Dish Dispute" calendar, but the prevalent online feed site has it listed, so you can watch there if you're a Dish customer like myself.

Game Notes About the Thrashers:
The Thrashers are without their best player in Ilya Kovalchuk. Young players to watch include: Evander Kane a 4th overall pick in this years draft who has 3 goals and 3 assists with a plus 4 rating. Zach Bogosian a 3rd overall pick in the 2008 draft (picked right before Pietrangelo) who has 6 goals 2 assists, and logs an average of 25 minutes a game. Rich Peverly has been amazing after being picked up on waivers from NAS last january. Peverly has 45 pts in 47 games with ATL, after only having 20 pts in 73 games in the past few years as a Pred.
Just Something new, Trying the fancy GDT to change things up...Hopefully it brings us a BIG VICTORY!!!

Looks like the Blues will have a decent shot at pulling out a victory if their Penalty Kill is up to snuff.
I think the Blues Power Play wakes up and chips in a couple of goals for a 3-2 victory.

Let's Go Blues!
I sure hope the vets figure out some way to show up the kids instead of the other way round.
If somebody hears, please post what they are going to do with Eller and Andy Mac.

I'd assume they'd recall Eller (officially, since the emergency recall expires now that McDonald is back). We can have 23 men on the roster, right? We have 13 forwards on the roster now: (Backes, McDonald, Perron, Boyes, Kariya, Tkachuk, Eller, Oshie, Berglund, McClement, Crombeen, Janssen, Winchester); 8 defensemen assuming Jackman and Colaiacovo are ready (Jackman, Colaiacovo, EJ, Sydor, Brewer, Petro, Polak, Weaver); and 2 goalies - that's 23 men. Can't we just scratch Janssen for today's game?

According to JR...they are keeping Eller up and scratching Walt and Sydor for maintenance.
Blues when a tough one...2 to 1
Eller and Bergie

I'm going to call my boss tomorrow and see if I can get a 'maintenance day'
I have a feeling the answer is going to be NO.
Is Carlo playing?
