Were you ever one of the first to find that show on TV that blossoms into a hit? YOU got in on the ground floor so you might be a bigger fan than most, after all, you found it. Or maybe, you discover a restaurant that becomes ultra popular and you frequent the establishment with great pride, because YOU were one of the first to recognize that it's something special?
Could this be the phenomenon we see with Bulgerites? Did they think they were discovering the next Johnny Unitas? Did they tell all their friends and co workers- you watch that Marc Bulger... he's going to be something special? This leads me to speculate that if a person took an "over the top" reaction in the first place with Marc... his premature demise would be a source of great embarrassment and emotional pain. They would lash out at all who criticize him offering up excuses... eh... reasons why his greatness can no longer shine through.
When they canceled Chuck... a buddy of mine thought for sure it was a mistake. He saw the pilot and declared it an instant hit. Like the Bulgerites, he too thought he was getting in on the ground floor of something special. My buddy told everyone it was a great show and they should watch. People rolled their eyes and just humored him. Now he is angry, embarrassed and will defend the show from everyone who says the show sucked, offering up a multitude of reasons why they must have canceled it.
Sound familiar folks?

Seriously you need to seek mental health help. It is called obsessive compulsive syndrome.
Why start this thread unless you are consumed by Marc Bulger thoughts?
No one is surprised by you creating another anti-Marc Bulger thread, but do you realize how sick you are?

Well... since you have about 50 posts in a year... and you seem to know I like bashing the Apologists... that tells me you more than likely have several user accounts. Now who is the sick one? LOL

We get it you don't like Bulger. Nobody cares. Most likely he's not our QB beyond this year. Get a life dude. You remind me of Ray Finkle from Ace Ventura with your obsession. Pretty sad.

This post made me visit a cancelled show web site to confirm that Chuck has not been cancelled as this dude proclaims. Phew.
Don't ever do that to me again, bro.

You are correct... for now. Here's what I dug up:
NBC has announced that there will be a “Chuck Season 3”. The network’s official announcement about the renewed Chuck series is expected to be on Tuesday, May 19.
Due to poor ratings in the 2nd season, NBC has decided to order only 13 episodes, and has cut the show’s budget. According to reports, 2 staff writers will leave the show and some supporting cast will get reduced time of appearance during the season. It is also believed that a regular cast member will be dropped permanently.
It was a good move by NBC. Chuck Season 2 left me hanging and now I am eager and excited to see Chuck kick some --- this season.
UPDATE:
For all the Chuck fans out there: Chuck season 3 begins March 2010.
