Although I'm not a fan of the term "bodywear," the new line of David Beckham Bodywear for H&M has some attractive undies. Or perhaps I'm being swayed by the campaign images.
Either way, the line by the chiseled, stylish and heavily tattooed athlete debuts in 1,800 H&M stores worldwide on February 2.
The collection will initially feature nine underwear styles for men designed by Beckham and his creative team. The collection will be sold exclusively at H&M. This isn't a limited-edition release, so no need to camp out and rush the doors. This product will be around for a while.
Finally, Beckham is modeling his own underwear after years of being the spokesbody for Giorgio Armani's iconic underwear line.
Beckham is wise to be his own model. Let's face it, we're not going to get tired of seeing it anytime soon.
They say Beckham's underwear won't be so overt with branding, instead the focus will be on fit, function, comfort and design. So you don't have to worry that Beckham's name will be peaking out from waistbands.
The range of new products will include briefs, boxers, vests, T-shirts, pajamas and long johns. Prices will range from $12.95 for briefs and $14.95 for boxers to a high of $29.95 for long-sleeve henley tops and long johns.
