Tell us about yourself. • I left my full-time job in May. My experience has been mostly in telecommunications sales and customer service. Friends have always told me I should pursue a career in something fashion-related. I’ve been making jewelry for a few years and have decided to pursue it full-time. I am so lucky to have an incredibly supportive husband.

What type of jewelry do you make? • I love making jewelry out of repurposed objects. My favorite styles are art deco, Boho and industrial. I am currently focusing on creating pieces out of copper, brass, bronze and silver with semiprecious gemstones and other objects. I am also working on a lot of wire-wrapped pieces.

What’s in your collection? • I have bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings. I create a lot of statement necklaces.

What tools do you work with? • I work with a texturizing hammer, a ball peen hammer, a mallet and a needle nose plier.

Talk to us about your work space. • My husband has finished building a metal studio in our basement. So, there is a lot of banging with the hammer, and I get to play with fire. I love soldering.

Do you have a favorite piece in your collection? • Yes. I love my art deco pieces.

What are your prices? • My collection ranges from $12 to $50 and my statement necklaces start at $35.

Will you be adding any new pieces to your collection? • I will be adding silk scarves and handmade bags to my collection.
