1 apple
8 strawberries
16 blueberries
8 grapes
1 melon
Lemon juice
1. Wash apple, berries and grapes and remove any stems. Slice apples and melons into approximately 1/2-inch slices. Use miniature cookie cutters to cut the melons and apples into fun shapes. Squirt lemon juice on the cut apples to prevent browning.
2. Divide the fruit into four equal portions and thread each portion on a wooden skewer, alternating fruits to achieve a colorful pattern. (Save any leftover fruit scraps to make fruit smoothies later.)
Per serving: 70 calories; no fat; no saturated fat; no cholesterol; 1g protein; 18g carbohydrate; 15g sugar; 2.5g fiber; 20mg sodium; 15mg calcium.
