Yield: 6 servings (about 3/4 cup each)
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream (see note)
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 3/4 teaspoons kosher salt
1 1/4 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup sliced or slivered almonds
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1 1/4 pounds cooked skinless, boneless chicken breast, shredded with a fork
1. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, curry powder, salt and pepper. (For best flavor, cover and refrigerate mixture 1 to 6 hours before finishing salad.)
2. Add raisins, almonds, green onions and chicken; fold together gently.
Tester's Note: Discard any accumulated liquid from sour cream before adding.
