The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has set up a website commemorating Black History Month.
The items on the page run from cultural issues and health to health disparities.
The lists include presidential proclamations, statistics, and government initiatives on issues such as heart disease, hypertension and other scourges of black health.
Also featured are excerpts from the CDC Health Disparities & Inequalities Report, 2011.
The site is a treasure trove for someone wanting to write a research paper or just learn what's going on.
