"Calorie Restriction, Exercise and Glucoregulation in Humans," or the CREG study, is a follow-up to an earlier study, "Preferential reductions in intermuscular and visceral adipose tissue with exercise-induced weight loss compared with calorie restriction," which was published last year and published in a recent edition of The Journal of Applied Physiology .
Researchers are recruiting participants for the CREG study.
Here are the applicant requirements:
Weight • Slightly to moderately overweight, with a BMI of 25 to 29.9. Check your BMI at nhlbisupport.com/bmi
Age • 45-65 years of age; women must be postmenopausal.
Health • Not exercising regularly, no major diseases, no diabetes.
