Willmore Park has trails that are a pleasant environment for a walk or bicycle ride, and for longer jaunts. It is located near the River Des Peres Greenway path.

Where • Willmore Park, Hampton and Jamieson avenues.

How long • 1.5 miles of trails plus interior routes.

Surface • Paved, concrete.

Can be used for • Hiking and bicycle riding.

User's notes • This is another place for exercise without getting too far from your car. The Missouri Department of Conservation stocks the two lakes with fish.

Facilities • Privy restroom and shelters.

New Year's Eve walk

What • An early evening, moonless walk through Columbia Bottom Conservation Area.

When • From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 31.

Who can attend • Ages 10 and older.

Where • Meet at parking lot "M, " Columbia Bottom Conservation Area, 801 Strodtman Road.

Reservations and information • Call 314-877-6014 or visit mdc.mo.gov/areas/areas/bottom.

Special note • Interpretive services are available for people with hearing loss. Contact the Columbia Bottom office at least five days ahead of your visit. The office is closed Sunday through Tuesday, so leave a message if you call after Friday.
