Federal and state health officials have issued several recalls this week products that may pose a health threat to consumers.

Rexall calcium and vitamin D tablets with a lot number 387651-04 sold only at Dollar General stores have been recalled because they were mislabeled and may contain shellfish fragments.

Vagifresh Ball and Vagifresh Gel in packaging with Female One labels may contain an anesthetic or various bacteria.

Several hair growth topical creams and shampoos from Image Solutions have not been proven safe and could cause skin irritation.

Ryt-way Industries LLC's Bigs Dill Pickle Sunflower Seeds in 5.35-ounce plastic bags with expiration dates of Dec. 8, 2012 and Dec. 9, 2012 and a UPC code 896887002202 may contain soy, an allergen for some people.

Small pieces of plastic may have gotten into Rich Products Corporation's vanilla soaked sponge cakes with a UPC code of 00049800629387.
