On my wish list: Feeling Moody scarves

TIE ONE ON: I am scarf obsessed. People who own boring scarves are doing themselves and the world a disservice. Yeah, I said it. When it's cold and dreary, there's absolutely no reason not to wrap yourself in something that's colorful, joyous and practical. The scarves from St. Louis-based Feeling Moody (imfeelingmoody.com) are just the trick — a cozy, chunky knit collar with great buttons. The scarves are $28 to $40 depending on the style. There are a lot of days in winter, so I want them in every style and color. And these are a funky, cool item to layer under a coat or simply style over a T-shirt and jeans or a knit dress. Owner and chief knitter Sarita Moody takes special orders (for a 15 percent surcharge) and will discuss pricing for extra-special requests. By Debra D. Bass, fashion editor
