Sheriff warns of prize scam

The Madison County Sheriff's Office recently received a report of a Publishing Clearing House Scam. The victim was defrauded $5,000 after received a letter he had won $650,000 and an offer to pay off any credit cards with a balance. The Sheriff's Office offered these tips to safeguard finances:

Take-back day collects more than 1,000 pounds of meds
