Dedication Service
The Mishkan T'filah prayer book will be dedicated during the Shabbat service. Service will also include readings in celebration of Yom Ha'atzmaut, Israel Independence Day and a reception at the Oneg Shabbat. Israeli foods and music will be provided.

The Art of War: Posters in World Conflict
The exhibit consists of 195 posters mainly from the United States but includes those from Great Britain, France, Germany, Soviet Union and other countries. More posters will be added temporarily for the Pearl Harbor attack (Dec. 7), Christmas, African American History Month (February) and Women's History Month (March).

Urgent Shelter Exhibit
Exhibits will address issues of socially responsible design. The exhibit will feature structures designed for persons who are homeless or have been displaced by war or natural disaster. The featured aretists and designers are Global Village, Electoland, Mechael Rakowitz and Mad Housers. A public reception for the artists will begin at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 7 at the gallery. Mia Ferrara Pelosi of Global Village Shelters will give a talk at 6:30 p.m. in the Gallery Auditorium.

A Walk for Sudan
The walkathon, "The Gift of Water, One Well at a Time," hopes to raise enough funds to build a water well. The project is a partnership of the Diocese of Missouri and the Diocese of Lui in southern Sudan.

The Catholic Divorce Ministry will present noted author the Rev. John T. Catoir who will speak on "Spirital Joy: The Secret of Survival and Happiness." Workshops will cover various topics about divorce, separation and being a widow. Registration fee will include continental breakfast and lunch.
