L-O-L-A LOLA: Our town's Kim Goedeker, 26, and her dog, Lola, are featured in a picture on today's front page of USA Today and in an accompanying article in the Life section of the paper.

Goedeker, a senior account executive Weber Shandwick public relations, was interviewed for a piece about how dog ownership can improve a person's health. She notes that she adopted Lola -- a Labrador mix -- five years ago and that they have become hooked on running together.

Goedeker says in the article that Lola is helping her train for a half-marathon in Myrtle Beach, S. C. on Oct. 23. The article and picture are also in the online version of the newspaper.
