RIBBIT: We have no idea whether leap days were left off calendars all over town, but we do know that the St. Louis Zoo left it off theirs and went to some lengths to correct the error.

Some time after full-color wall calendars without a Feb. 29th on them were mailed out, the Zoo sent out glossy folded notes with a picture of a frog on the outside and the words: "Frogs matter. Jump in."

Inside the note was a sticker with the number "29" on it and directions for placing the sticker "over the space in February where the 29th would normally be found."

Oops.
