Here's a look at stories we're following today on STLtoday and in Wednesday's Post-Dispatch.

Kroenke and the Dodgers?: Sources are telling the Los Angeles Times that more than 10 potential owners have submitted bids to buy the Dodgers.  The paper reports that Rams owner Stan Kroenke has explored the possibility, but sources weren't sure if he formally submitted the bid. We'll be following the story, and examine what that would mean for the NFL's cross-ownership rules, which bar ownership of another pro sports team in a competing NFL city. (LA doesn't have an NFL team ... yet)

Oscar talk: Did you sit through the "Tree of Life?" Were you charmed by "Hugo?" You'll be able to chat with STLtoday movie critic Joe Williams about the Academy Award nominations and the hits and misses. The chat starts at 1 p.m.

College recruiting: Last week Bryan Burwell told us about the warm reception that Mizzou alums gave Dorial Green-Beckham, the nation's top football recruit. Today the Bleacher Report breaks down the best of the uncommitteds and tells where they are likely headed.

JFKs last days: President John F. Kennedy's library is releasing 45 hours of privately recorded meetings and phone calls, providing a window into the final months of his life. Discussing the schedule on what would be the last day of his life, Kennedy says: "Monday, well that's a tough day." A staffer replies, "It's a hell of a day, Mr. President."

State of the Union: Expect the economy to dominate as President Obama delivers the State of the Union address tonight at 8 p.m. We'll follow with analysis and give you a chance to weigh in.

Casino charge: Could a $1 admission fee be part of the plan for Missouri casinos? That's any idea being floated by Gov. Jay Nixon, but the Missouri Gaming Association is none too crazy about it. We'll report on developments throughout the day.
