We take the temperature of some stories we are following on STLtoday and in Wednesday's Post-Dispatch.
WHAT'S NOT
Dorial Green-Beckham: We are now less than 24 hours away from college football signing day. The wide receiver receiver from Springfield, Mo., is the country's top prize and could become the biggest recruit in Missouri football history.
Mitt Romney: He was oozing confidence heading into today's primary. The other contests were more about momentum. This is about delegates - the winner-take-all format will put 50 in someone's column.
The weather: The forecast calls for highs near 63 today and in the 50s through Friday. This January probably will be logged as the 19th warmest on record for St. Louis, and contrast with the winter of '82, when we saw one of our worst snowfalls ever.
WHAT'S NOT
Newt Gingrich: With his momentum in check, Gingrich was taking a look at the big picture. He said the race wouldn't be over until summer. Next up for him is a run of contests in states where he has little organization.
Honda: While its American counterparts are turning the corner, the Japanese automaker today announced that its net earnings dropped 41 percent and projected a sharply lower full-year profit. Earthquakes, tsunamis, floods and some design missteps have plagued the automaker.
Bud Light Platinum: We'll literally, it's not hot. A-B InBev is hoping its new product finds a cool spot with the hip party set. In Wednesday's PD, we'll look at this high-alcohol beer and what it means for ABI's flat sales.
