The three most frequent questions we've received since the changes we made to STLtoday last week:

1. Where are my games?

2. What happened to the STLtoday headlines I received on Google and Yahoo?

3. When I click on headlines, I get a message saying I can't read the stories.

Let's start with the easy one first.

Games: Some of our old games, like Jumble, Cryptoquip and Bridge were difficult to find. We've added links to all of those pages now on the right rail of the Comics page and the Games page.

Google and Yahoo headlines. We've provided the new feeds to Google and Yahoo and they are now appearing on those sites.  Also you can go to our RSS page to get get headline feeds for your favorite columnist or topic. You can also click on the orange RSS button at the top of many pages to get feeds on other searches or topics.

If you are using iGoogle to read local headlines, you can find links to our iGoogle readers on the RSS page as well.

Disappearing stories: Several of you have reported seeing the following message when trying to access parts of the site. "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site ..." The bad news is that many parts of our site will not work on IE6. You will need to upgrade your browser to a newer version of Internet Explorer to get it to work. The good news is, once you upgrade, your online experiences should be much better. You can get the latest version of Internet Explorer here.

Interactive Director Will Sullivan explained, "The bottom line is that IE6 doesn't support modern web design / programming standards that almost all the other browsers do. These uniform standards are what make the web thrive because a designer or programmer can create a website and it'll work on Mozilla, Chrome, Opera, Netscape, Safari, mobile devices, etc. all using the same standards, but IE 6 has a lot of quirks that break designs and website functionality."

Google, YouTube and even Microsoft are abandoning IE6 as well.

There's a history of major security issues, viruses and malware that has been spread through holes in IE6.

We believe we're making the right move by abandoning IE6 as well. However, we made a mistake in making the move without letting you know ahead of time. We apologize for that, and we hope by upgrading,  you'll have safer and faster browsing of STLtoday and the internet.
