ST. LOUIS > Man is found shot to death in street • Eric Marion, 34, was shot to death late Saturday night in the 3400 block of Lexington Avenue, St. Louis police said. Witnesses told police that they heard gunshots, went outside and found Marion lying in the street about 11:25 p.m. Marion, who lived in the 4500 block of North Kingshighway, was shot once in the chest and died at the scene, police said.

ST. LOUIS > Buckshot strikes man sitting on porch • A man was shot while sitting on a porch shortly after midnight Saturday in the 4400 block of Greer Avenue, St. Louis police said. The 29-year-old man, whom police did not name, told police he heard shots and ran through a gangway, where he realized he had been hit in the leg. Police said the wound was from buckshot.
MADISON COUNTY > Combine accident kills man on farm • Herbert Braundmeier, 50, of Staunton, was killed in an accident Sunday while working on a farm off Dauderman Road near Alhambra in Madison County. The sheriff's office said Braundmeier was standing behind a combine when the driver backed up and ran over him shortly before noon.
