ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis police say the man shot to death inside a parked van Monday night has been identified as Steven Rivers, 35, of the 4500 block of Aldine Avenue.

Police got a call for a shooting and found Rivers dead inside the van about 9:30 p.m. Monday in the 4700 block of LeDuc Street.

Witnesses told police they saw a man with his face covered by a bandana walk up to the van, open the door and start shooting. The gunman then ran off.

Police reported no other leads in the case, no suspects and no motive for the shooting.
