CAHOKIA • Six men have been charged in a gun battle that ranged through several neighborhoods and left one teen dead.

Four of the six have been arrested, the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department and state's attorney Brendan Kelly announced Saturday. They are: Carlos D. Boey, 27, of Cahokia; Anthony D. Garner, 20, of Fairview Heights; Terrion H. Willis, 28, of East St. Louis and Travon L. Shaw, 27, of Cahokia.

The other two suspects — Davonte M. Crawford, 18, of Cahokia and Marco B. Orr, 22, of Belleville — are at large and considered "armed and dangerous," Kelly said.

A seventh man is being sought.

Authorities had been searching for the men since the shootout Wednesday night, which started on a parking lot, continued in a subdivision and ended at street corner.

One victim, Damas Moore, 18, of East St. Louis, died Friday morning of a gunshot wound in the head, said Sheriff's Capt. Steve Johnson. Shaw was shot in the shoulder. He was treated at a hospital.

The incident began with numerous shots being fired from a vehicle at the County Line Quick Shop in the 2900 block of Camp Jackson Road between Cahokia and Centreville.

Authorities said they could not discuss what they believe led to the gun battle.
