ST. LOUIS • A teenage girl was hospitalized Tuesday after being hit three times by gunfire as she sat on a porch in the 4400 block of Farlin Avenue. 

Police say the girl, 15, was on the porch with a friend when they heard gunshots at about 12:25 a.m. She was shot once in the hand and twice in the foot, police say. Police withheld the girl's name.

Police did not provide her condition but said doctors indicated she was stable.
