ST. LOUIS -- A man and woman have been charged in the robbery of a Hostess Brand Store last month, and authorities say the two were also involved in previous crimes at the same store.
Natasha Martin, 31, has been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of theft. Carlyle Curry, 36, has been charged with one count of robbery and one of theft. Martin and Curry live in the 7600 block of Virginia Avenue, police said.
In the Aug. 18 robbery of the Hostess store, at 6301 North Broadway, police said Curry walked up to the register with a soda as if to pay for it. When the clerk opened the cash register, Martin grabbed the cashier and forced her to the ground and Curry took money from the register. No one was hurt.
The other charges against Martin stem from a robbery on April 24 and thefts on June 30 and July 9. Curry's theft charge also stems from a June 30 incident at the store.
The two were arrested Wednesday. Bond information for the two was not available.
